About the role
Responsibilities
- Isolate primary skin cells from human specimens and perform in vitro cell culture
- Organize and maintain cellular and tissue biobanks
- Generate 3D engineered skin, cartilage, and other tissues
- Perform directed differentiation of iPSCs into skin-specific cell types and organoids
- Conduct simple and multiplexed immunofluorescence and spatial transcriptomics
- Maintain detailed records of all laboratory activities and planned experiments
- Manage tissue culture room maintenance, equipment, and inventory
- Organize data for storage, presentations, and publications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in laboratory science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry) or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques, including sterile cell culture
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate experimental records and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Photoshop, R, or GraphPad Prism
- Experience with computational analysis of single-cell RNAseq and spatial transcriptomics
