Technician B

Responsibilities

• Assist with general lab management, including organizing supplies and equipment maintenance
• Prepare reagents, media, and specialized solutions for epithelial tube formation experiments
• Support research on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of tubulogenesis
• Perform microscopy-based analyses, including confocal imaging sample preparation, mounting, and fixation
• Collect experimental data by executing established laboratory protocols and recording quantitative measurements
• Maintain and monitor model systems such as cell cultures and organoids
• Prepare slides, samples, and imaging plates for tubule development studies
• Assist in molecular biology procedures including PCR, basic cloning, and protein or RNA extraction
• Document laboratory procedures, experimental observations, and results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to set up and conduct experiments according to established protocols
• Strong ability to record and document data accurately
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
