About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with general lab management, including organizing supplies and equipment maintenance
- Prepare reagents, media, and specialized solutions for epithelial tube formation experiments
- Support research on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of tubulogenesis
- Perform microscopy-based analyses, including confocal imaging sample preparation, mounting, and fixation
- Collect experimental data by executing established laboratory protocols and recording quantitative measurements
- Maintain and monitor model systems such as cell cultures and organoids
- Prepare slides, samples, and imaging plates for tubule development studies
- Assist in molecular biology procedures including PCR, basic cloning, and protein or RNA extraction
- Document laboratory procedures, experimental observations, and results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to set up and conduct experiments according to established protocols
- Strong ability to record and document data accurately
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
