About the role

Responsibilities

  • Record and analyze research data
  • Perform animal experiments and manage animal husbandry
  • Conduct general laboratory maintenance
  • Support day-to-day laboratory research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator and lab manager
  • Execute wet lab tasks including pipetting, gel loading, phlebotomy, and maintaining sterile techniques

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory skills such as pipetting and gel loading
  • Experience or training in phlebotomy and sterile technique

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior laboratory research experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team
  • Highly organized with impeccable record-keeping skills
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and manage projects from start to completion
