About the role
Responsibilities
- Record and analyze research data
- Perform animal experiments and manage animal husbandry
- Conduct general laboratory maintenance
- Support day-to-day laboratory research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator and lab manager
- Execute wet lab tasks including pipetting, gel loading, phlebotomy, and maintaining sterile techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- Proficiency in basic laboratory skills such as pipetting and gel loading
- Experience or training in phlebotomy and sterile technique
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior laboratory research experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team
- Highly organized with impeccable record-keeping skills
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and manage projects from start to completion
