About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a detailed and excellently curated laboratory notebook
  • Organize laboratory supplies, maintain service contracts, and manage equipment, antibody, and plasmid libraries
  • Manage and organize the mouse colony
  • Perform immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence on mouse tissue
  • Conduct autophagosome isolation and tissue fractionation
  • Support scientists on various research projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous laboratory research experience
  • Experience working with mice
  • Proficiency with confocal imaging and tissue handling
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Matlab, R, or Python
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and demonstrate high organizational skills
