About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain a detailed and excellently curated laboratory notebook
- Organize laboratory supplies, maintain service contracts, and manage equipment, antibody, and plasmid libraries
- Manage and organize the mouse colony
- Perform immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence on mouse tissue
- Conduct autophagosome isolation and tissue fractionation
- Support scientists on various research projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous laboratory research experience
- Experience working with mice
- Proficiency with confocal imaging and tissue handling
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Matlab, R, or Python
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and demonstrate high organizational skills
