About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform animal experiments and participate in day-to-day laboratory research projects
- Manage animal colonies, including husbandry, genotyping, phenotyping, and daily monitoring of experimental mice
- Record and analyze experimental data
- Maintain general laboratory operations and cleanliness
- Execute tasks including pipetting, gel loading, and sterile techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
- Proficiency in mouse handling and sterile techniques
- Experience with basic lab skills such as pipetting and gel loading
- Foundational knowledge of Mendelian inheritance patterns
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology (Cell or Molecular Biology preferred)
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience
- Previous experience in animal colony management and husbandry
- Experience with flow cytometry
