Technician B

Responsibilities

• Perform animal experiments and participate in day-to-day laboratory research projects
• Manage animal colonies, including husbandry, genotyping, phenotyping, and daily monitoring of experimental mice
• Record and analyze experimental data
• Maintain general laboratory operations and cleanliness
• Execute tasks including pipetting, gel loading, and sterile techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
• Proficiency in mouse handling and sterile techniques
• Experience with basic lab skills such as pipetting and gel loading
• Foundational knowledge of Mendelian inheritance patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology (Cell or Molecular Biology preferred)
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience
• Previous experience in animal colony management and husbandry
• Experience with flow cytometry
