Technician Associate

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes, test stands, wiring harnesses, subassemblies, and tubing assemblies
• Perform soldering and execute specific test procedures
• Support engineers with ongoing testing, troubleshooting, and data collection
• Monitor test stands and document all observations and findings
• Maintain and calibrate equipment according to documented procedures
• Participate in problem-solving discussions to identify design improvements
• Support 3D printing activities and assist with laboratory organization
• Provide feedback on work instructions and identify process improvements

Requirements

• Associate degree (AS) in Engineering or a related technology field
• 2+ years of experience in an electromechanical device development environment
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, schematics, and CAD drawings
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for component modification and assembly
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for documentation
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with light machining equipment (drill presses, milling machines, band saws)
• Experience using JIRA or similar task-tracking and workflow management tools
• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
