About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze samples in support of quality, engineering and laboratory testing programs
- Operate analytical equipment including XRD, VSM, ONH analyzer, BET, Helmholtz coil, and SAXS
- Demonstrate manual dexterity within glovebox environments while maintaining contamination control
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and test methods
- Document sample preparation activities and maintain sample traceability
- Communicate observations, anomalies, and equipment issues to technical staff
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to support project objectives
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in chemistry, materials science, engineering, physics, or related field
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience in a controlled environment
- Strong hands-on skills with lab equipment
- Experience following SOPs and technical procedures
- Ability to perform repetitive fine motor movements and work inside gloveboxes
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
