Technician, Analytical Lab

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples in support of quality, engineering and laboratory testing programs
• Operate analytical equipment including XRD, VSM, ONH analyzer, BET, Helmholtz coil, and SAXS
• Demonstrate manual dexterity within glovebox environments while maintaining contamination control
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and test methods
• Document sample preparation activities and maintain sample traceability
• Communicate observations, anomalies, and equipment issues to technical staff
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to support project objectives

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in chemistry, materials science, engineering, physics, or related field
• 1-3 years of laboratory experience in a controlled environment
• Strong hands-on skills with lab equipment
• Experience following SOPs and technical procedures
• Ability to perform repetitive fine motor movements and work inside gloveboxes
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
