Technician 4, Test Equipment Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot major downtime issues for test equipment including Testcell, Tester, Bagger, VDCS, and Conveyor systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve Testcell yield issues to maintain product quality and throughput
• Conduct investigations for quality incidents and support root cause analysis
• Perform product conversions on test equipment to support production requirements
• Monitor key process input variables using KPOV database, OEE tracking, and Digital Preventive Maintenance systems
• Drive equipment upgrade and continuous improvement projects
• Act as an upskilling trainer for test equipment
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety rules, and cleanroom protocols

Requirements

• Diploma or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field
• 4-5 years of manufacturing experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (motors, bearings, gears, conveyors) and electrical systems (AC/DC, three-phase, sensors)
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
• Proficiency in MS Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols like Lockout/Tagout

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLC basics and automation troubleshooting
• Exposure to preventive and predictive maintenance tools
• Experience with Test & Measurement equipment
