Technician 4, Layout

Responsibilities

• Create and release component symbols for the Worldwide CAD Library Database
• Maintain the CAD library database according to identified schedules
• Ensure all released symbols adhere to high-quality standards and company specifications
• Collaborate with design engineers and manufacturing teams to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback
• Contribute to process improvements and the achievement of team-defined goals and initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an electronics-related technology course (4th year ECE or similar field is a plus)
• Strong ability to understand electronic component datasheets, dimensioned drawings, and functionality
• Working knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and IPC standards
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different work schedules and changing task assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using CAD tools
• Knowledge of PCB and System in Package (SiP) technology
• Strong scholastic records for fresh graduates
