About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and troubleshoot major downtime issues for test equipment, including Testcell, Tester, Bagger, VDCS, and Conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Testcell yield issues to maintain product quality and throughput.
- Conduct investigations for quality incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Perform product conversions on test equipment to support production requirements.
- Monitor key process input variables (KPIVs) using KPOV databases, OEE tracking, and Digital Preventive Maintenance systems.
- Drive equipment upgrade and continuous improvement projects to enhance performance.
- Act as an upskilling trainer for test equipment, providing technical guidance to team members.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety rules, and cleanroom protocols.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field).
- 4-5 years of manufacturing experience, specifically in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (motors, bearings, gears, conveyors) and electrical systems (AC/DC, three-phase, sensors, relays).
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves and pressure controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and electrical diagrams.
- Proficiency in MS Windows Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of safety protocols such as Lockout/Tagout and PPE usage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC basics and troubleshooting automation or controls.
- Exposure to preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
- Experience working with Test & Measurement equipment.
