Technician 3, Lab

Responsibilities

• Support Devices Analytical Services Engineers and supervise operators in material analysis tasks using SEM/EDX, Raman, and FTIR techniques
• Train operators on DAS Lab procedures, safety standards, and develop training documentation
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and sample preparation
• Analyze and interpret analytical data and generate technical reports
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols
• Manage laboratory inventory, equipment logs, and consumable supplies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Materials Science, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in a scientific, laboratory, or analytical field
• Proficiency in operating analytical instrumentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SEM/EDX, FTIR, or Raman spectroscopy
• Laboratory safety certification or training
• Experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity
