Technician 2 Temp Control or Power

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both at the Dallas service center and at various customer locations.
• Set up and operate equipment independently or as part of a technical team.
• Handle repairs for oil-free air compressors and other specialized energy equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of experience working with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and maintenance.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to move or lift objects, typically up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required by customer needs.
