Technician 2 Power

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and execute moderate repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at the shop or on customer locations, testing and handling repairs independently or with a team
• Lead moderate job site setups and provide mentorship to lower-level technicians
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including data entry and use of relevant computer systems, in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other required regulations

Requirements

• Certified Jenbacher gas technician (FTA/FTB/CE1/CE2)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical aptitude in generators, industrial HVAC, air compressors, electrical distribution, power generation, or BESS products
• Mechanical inclination with experience using hand tools and performing automotive-style maintenance (lube, oil changes, troubleshooting)
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting objects up to 75 lbs, and working in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications to operate equipment
