Technician 2, Manufacturing Equipment

Responsibilities

• Improve and sustain engineering portion to meet KPIs including Availability, OEE, UPH, and Yield
• Operate and monitor SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, Datacon 8800, Underfill, reflow ovens, and AOI systems
• Support line setup, product changeovers, and line optimization activities
• Perform line troubleshooting and support daily production operations
• Analyze engineering failure root causes and propose corrective actions
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Propose improvements to enhance engineering performance and reliability
• Support overall setup, relocation, and retirement of systems
• Assist engineers in continuous improvement projects
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronic, or equivalent
• Ability to work in 12-hour shifts
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (reading, writing, and conversing)
• Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with computer systems and networks
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Sputtering, Unit Ball Attach, Re-flow, or Plasma machines
