Technician 2 - HVAC/Temperature Control (Shop)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment within the central repair shop.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and diagnose technical issues.
• Work independently or as part of a team to set up and operate equipment at the shop.
• Calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-7 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required by customer needs.
