Technician 1 Temp Control

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both at the Baltimore service center and at various customer locations.
• Set up and operate equipment independently or as part of a technical team.
• Handle repairs and ensure equipment is functioning according to customer requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card if required by customer needs.
