Technician 1 Power

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and execute moderate repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors
• Troubleshoot extensive equipment failures at the shop or on customer locations
• Lead moderate job site setups and provide mentorship to lower-level technicians
• Complete necessary paperwork, data entry, and documentation accurately and timely
• Maintain and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other required regulations

Requirements

• Certified Jenbacher gas technician (FTA/FTB/CE1/CE2)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools and experience in automotive lube, oil changes, and troubleshooting
• Technical knowledge of generators, industrial HVAC equipment, air compressors, or electrical distribution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with load banks or BESS products
• Ability to work in diverse environments, including extreme weather conditions and high-noise settings
• Multi-skilled background across multiple product lines
