Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and maintain coating machines and pre-treatment equipment
• Prepare coating systems, load/unload chambers, and change magnetic systems
• Input process parameters into operator screens and follow customer work instructions
• Perform daily changeover maintenance and minimize equipment downtime through preventative maintenance
• Inspect customer products for processing and inspect finished products for quality
• Assist with quality assurance and collaborate with the Quality Coordinator to address concerns
• Maintain and update equipment records and documentation

Requirements

• High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM)
• Ability to lift, stack, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 44 pounds
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to order supplies via the internet
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• High energy, detail-oriented, and a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of industrial repair experience (HVAC, carpentry, automotive, or construction)
• Previous experience with coating techniques, blasting, or plating
• Knowledge of using cutting tools such as drills
