Technical/Product Publications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create documentation and training materials for complex Virtual Prototyping tools and EDA methodologies.
• Develop GUI-based procedures and lab exercises based on real-time use cases.
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and design teams to gather technical inputs and review feedback.
• Maintain documentation to ensure it remains in sync with the latest tool versions.
• Adhere to the Synopsys Style Guide and use JIRA for tracking documentation changes and requests.
• Utilize AI-driven setups and automation to assist in editing XML documents.

Requirements

• B.Tech, B.Sc, or MCA in Computer Science.
• Basic programming knowledge and entry-level experience in technical documentation (user manuals, developer guides, etc.).
• Strong command of written English with high attention to grammar, structure, and clarity.
• Hands-on experience authoring in DITA XML and proficiency working directly with XML code.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and document development life cycles.
• Ability to work on Windows and Linux platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oxygen Author or similar structured authoring tools.
• Background in EDA (Electronic Design Automation), semiconductor industry, or technical software documentation.
