Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents to support unit missions
• Write and edit technical documentation for organizational activities
• Create operations documentation, implementation guides, and end-user guides
• Produce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provide data definitions and data flow documentation
• Format technical publications from pamphlets, drawings, and technical consultations
• Track and monitor tasking using automated data systems and research tools

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
• 6 years of experience as a Technical Writer in similar programs
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of TW experience)
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Experience documenting systems and systems of systems per engineering standards
• Strong understanding of grammar and technical writing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SIGINT concepts and terminology
