Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Delivery, Development, Infrastructure, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and Application Support teams to gather requirements
• Develop and maintain SRS, BRD, technical specifications, SOPs, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles
• Prepare system handover documentation for production support
• Create standardized documentation templates, checklists, and governance standards
• Document system architecture, configurations, integrations, APIs, and workflows
• Conduct workshops with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture technical knowledge
• Produce audit-ready documentation complying with internal governance and banking regulations
• Develop process flow diagrams and architecture diagrams using diagramming tools
• Maintain documentation version control and update following system releases
• Support internal and external audits by providing traceable documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Communication, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise IT
• Proven experience developing SRS, BRDs, Functional Specifications, and Technical Design Documents
• Experience documenting enterprise applications, digital platforms, APIs, and integrations
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps environments
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and governance documentation
• Experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
• Strong understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) frameworks
• Knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and ISO 9001

• Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
• ISO 20000 or ISO 9001 certifications
• GRC-related certifications
