About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze engineering documentation, technical drawings, and schematics to create structured service content
  • Create and revise service procedures, troubleshooting steps, and safety information
  • Assemble topic-based content into service manuals using the ST4 Schema environment
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure technical accuracy
  • Manage revisions, update logs, and version control
  • Comply with SGS Code of Integrity, quality assurance procedures, and QHSE policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Technical Writer
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and refrigeration or electromechanical schematics
  • Excellent English writing skills with technical precision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and technical comprehension abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with service or maintenance manuals
  • Experience with topic-based or modular documentation such as DITA or ST4
