Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Support the center of excellence by developing, formatting, and publishing key policies, procedures, and guidance for a large complex program in Saudi Arabia
• Prepare, check, and correct documentation formatting in alignment with program branding guidelines and industry best practices
• Verify the accuracy of information within documents, including figures, tables, references, captions, and claims
• Collaborate with authors to reorganize sentences and paragraphs to improve legibility, storytelling, and logical flow
• Maintain a consistent style, tone, and voice throughout all documents according to specified style guides
• Draft or update best practice templates and guidance manuals for proofreading and editing
• Manage multiple stakeholders and consultants to ensure the timely publication of documents
• Prepare reports to update committees and management as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least 6 years of experience in editing, publication drafting, or preparing governance-related policies and procedures
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Proficiency in Adobe software
• Strong attention to detail regarding grammar, punctuation, and branding consistency
• Ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced, and challenging environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft and Adobe application training and certifications
