Technical Writer (Nuclear/Atomic Systems)

Responsibilities

• Draft technical manuals detailing the operation, functioning, and maintenance of combat systems
• Update and compile SLI documents, including maintenance plans, fault finding, logistics trees, and stock management
• Produce user guides and maintenance documentation
• Create or modify technical illustrations
• Write documentary modules (DM) and troubleshooting flowcharts
• Define tool lists and spare parts requirements

Requirements

• Technical training with a specialization in nuclear systems and ventilation
• Military background as an officer or NCO
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills developed through field experience
• Ability to manage multiple subjects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in English is considered a strong asset
