Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, proofread, and review technical and academic documents
• Prepare publications, reports, white papers, fact sheets, and other written materials
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality-assurance standards
• Support the development of multimedia content, web features, press releases, and newsletter articles
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and subject-matter experts to gather information
• Maintain version control, documentation, and editorial workflows

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in technical writing, proofreading, editing, publication, review, and quality assurance
• BA/BS degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in technical or scientific writing
• Demonstrated ability to independently research and write white papers and multimedia content
