Technical Writer, Logistics Administration

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual documents, technical data, and customer usage data to determine spares provisioning or maintenance requirements.
• Assist in the development of Technical Manuals (TMs), Supply Bulletins (SBs), and Storage Bulletins (SBs) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
• Prepare documents for various weapon systems to meet electronic publication objectives and ensure compliance with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Configuration Management to ensure technical accuracy, utilizing Fed Log to verify part numbers and National Stock Numbers (NSNs).
• Act as a Technical Editor on publications and ensure Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) data is accurate.
• Provide technical publication support for Design Reviews, Airworthiness Qualification Plans, and Engineering Change proposals (ECPs).
• Use software systems such as Team Track and GEARS to coordinate and review technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in technical writing or logistics administration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• Strong knowledge of DOD, Agency, and industry standards regarding engineering and logistics.
