Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive technical information including theory of operation, maintenance, diagnostic information, schematics, and troubleshooting guides.
• Create service manuals and diagnostic instructions to support global dealers and customers.
• Ensure all technical documentation conforms to company style guides and meets legal and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technical Training, Product Support, and Field Service teams.
• Participate in team planning to estimate hours and resource requirements for project completion.
• Align individual assignments with global product launch plans and development requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in technology, Automotive, Agricultural, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics systems.
• OR a High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Automotive, Agricultural, mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics fields.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to navigate between multiple complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using Arbortext.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs.
