About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, revise, and manage operations, laboratory, and maintenance procedures, work instructions, and job aids.
  • Execute technical writing tasks for Procedure Hub workflows, including Change, Modification, and New Content requests.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure procedural alignment and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Ensure all technical controls are formatted according to style guides and incorporate Human and Organizational Performance requirements.
  • Monitor and meet key performance metrics, including timely validations and change cycle times.
  • Support Unit Trainers by ensuring human factor elements are addressed in operating procedures as required by regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical writing experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro.
  • Background in Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability within industrial complex processing facilities (e.g., LNG, Refining, Petrochemical, or Offshore Platforms).
  • Degree or Trade Qualification in a relevant Maintenance or Engineering discipline.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to draft, edit, and interpret complex technical information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital smart procedures, specifically Hexagon AKMS (Chevron’s Procedure Hub).
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment to complete technical business processes.
