Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and health of the Fireworks marketing web platform using Next.js, Sanity, and Vercel
• Evolve and scale the existing Sanity content architecture and GROQ queries
• Lead the technical execution of the web refresh and define project milestones
• Work alongside an external agency partner on technical strategy and delivery
• Manage Vercel deployment workflows, ISR revalidation, and GitHub Actions pipelines
• Drive performance best practices across Core Web Vitals, SEO, and accessibility
• Partner with Marketing Operations on martech integrations and experimentation

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of professional experience in full-stack or frontend-heavy web development
• 4+ years of production experience with React and Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router)
• Strong fluency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Deep experience with Sanity or a comparable headless CMS
• Proficiency with Vercel deployments, ISR, and edge functions
• Solid grasp of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance tuning
• Experience managing third-party integrations (video, CRM, marketing tools)
• Proven ability to manage external agencies or vendors
• Strong project management instincts and ability to work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling existing web platforms on a headless CMS/Jamstack stack
• Familiarity with marketing analytics (GA4, Segment, PostHog)
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot integrations
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
• Familiarity with monorepo tooling like Turborepo or Nx
• Experience in a founding or first-in-function role at a startup
