Technical Training Instructor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training workshops for dealership technicians to improve diagnosis and repair competencies
• Prepare workshops and vehicles for experiential learning
• Maintain Regional Training Facility, tools, student guides, and vehicles
• Verify learners’ understanding using competency-based training
• Maintain attendee training records in the learning portal
• Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Dealership teams to meet training goals
• Assist in the development of technical training curriculum
• Comply with health and safety standards and maintain shop cleanliness using 5S standards

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in automotive technical repair and diagnostics
• 3+ years of experience training OEM dealership technicians
• Professional Certification (OEM Master Technician or ASE Master technician)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience preparing classrooms, workshops, and vehicles for learning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of electric vehicle technology
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Automotive Technology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
