Technical Training Instructor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical training workshops for dealership technicians to improve diagnostic strategies and vehicle system repair competencies.
• Prepare workshops, vehicles, and tools for experiential learning sessions.
• Verify learner understanding using competency-based training and identify additional training needs.
• Maintain the Regional Training Facility, including tools, student guides, literature, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate attendee training records in the learning portal.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Dealership teams to meet training department goals.
• Assist in the development of technical training curriculum and scheduling.
• Comply with health and safety standards and maintain shop cleanliness following 5S standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of automotive technical repair and diagnostics experience.
• 3+ years of experience training OEM dealership technicians.
• OEM Master Technician or ASE Master technician certification.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong classroom facilitation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge and experience with electric vehicle (EV) technology.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Automotive Technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
