Technical Trainer - OHL

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver practical technical skills training programs for Overhead Line (OHL) business units
• Develop technical course content, training schedules, and classroom agendas
• Conduct training sessions and workshops both in a training center and on-site
• Assess the competency of employees and subcontractors and maintain accurate records
• Support the accreditation of training programs by external bodies
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure Approved Operating Practices (AOPs) are met
• Manage the design and development of skills training areas, including sourcing necessary equipment

Requirements

• Extensive experience working in an Overhead Line (OHL) environment
• Relevant electrical site safety qualification
• Assessor qualification gained within the power industry
• Proven experience in designing technical course content
• Valid driver's license and access to suitable transport for travel across the UK & ROI
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure
