Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training workshops for dealership apprentice technicians to obtain OEM certification
• Prepare workshops and vehicles for experiential learning
• Verify learners’ understanding using competency-based training
• Identify additional training needs based on feedback and assessment
• Maintain Regional Training Facility, tools, student guides, and vehicles
• Maintain attendee training records in the learning portal
• Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Dealership teams
• Assist in the development of technical training curriculum
• Comply with health and safety standards and maintain shop cleanliness

Requirements

• 6+ years of automotive technical repair and diagnostics experience
• 3+ years of experience training OEM dealership technicians
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience preparing classrooms, workshops, and vehicles for learning
• Valid driver’s license
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of electric vehicle technology
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Tech School, Automotive Certificate, Associates, or Bachelor’s Degree
• OEM Master Technician or ASE Master technician certification
