About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate training workshops for dealership apprentice technicians to obtain OEM certification
- Prepare workshops and vehicles for experiential learning
- Verify learners’ understanding using competency-based training
- Identify additional training needs based on feedback and assessment
- Maintain Regional Training Facility, tools, student guides, and vehicles
- Maintain attendee training records in the learning portal
- Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Dealership teams
- Assist in the development of technical training curriculum
- Comply with health and safety standards and maintain shop cleanliness
Requirements
- 6+ years of automotive technical repair and diagnostics experience
- 3+ years of experience training OEM dealership technicians
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience preparing classrooms, workshops, and vehicles for learning
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electric vehicle technology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Tech School, Automotive Certificate, Associates, or Bachelor’s Degree
- OEM Master Technician or ASE Master technician certification
