Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and conduct technical training for new hires and existing team members to ensure compliance with quality, production, and safety standards
• Create, update, and manage procedures, work instructions, and training presentations
• Serve as the Document Control Coordinator (DCC) for the department
• Maintain and enter all training records into trackers to ensure full compliance
• Lead safety investigations, conduct environmental audits, and coordinate specialized training such as LOTO and forklift operations
• Spend a minimum of 40 hours per quarter on the manufacturing floor to maintain technical expertise
• Support safety specialists and assist with various project work as needed

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work multiple shifts and flexible schedules to meet company needs

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related experience in a technical training or manufacturing environment
