Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive technical training program for manufacturing roles
• Directly train employees on sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, electrical component assembly, and switchgear integration
• Develop training materials including video tutorials, written manuals, and hands-on exercises
• Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and completion data
• Implement skill assessment systems through practical tests and certifications
• Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and future training needs
• Partner with corporate teams to ensure effective onboarding for manufacturing employees

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven experience in a training or leadership role
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% to work cross-functionally with facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with learning platforms such as WorkRamp, Lattice, or LinkedIn Learning
• Certifications in training, instruction, or a relevant technical field
