About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative technical textile structures to meet demanding specifications using a multidisciplinary approach.
- Define and deploy intellectual property strategies to identify and protect technological innovations.
- Utilize experimental characterization tools, numerical modeling, and artificial intelligence to optimize textile performance.
- Lead prototyping at laboratory and pilot scales in collaboration with process teams to prepare for industrialization.
- Develop and formalize technical knowledge through active scientific monitoring and knowledge sharing.
- Build and manage external partnerships with laboratories, universities, and industrial suppliers to stimulate innovation.
Requirements
- Bac+3 with at least 5 years of experience in technical textile material design and manufacturing processes, or a Bac+5 in textile engineering with significant experience.
- Proven experience in the design and development of complex textile structures using weaving, knitting, braiding, or other innovative technologies.
- Strong mastery of material physics and associated transformation and implementation processes.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical subjects to non-specialists.
- English proficiency at a B2 level is mandatory.
- Analytical mindset, scientific rigor, and a strong interest in solving complex technical challenges.
