About the Company

Bankgirot has been the technical backbone connecting Sweden's banks in the national payment system since 1959. We are currently undergoing a major transformation to shape the future of Swedish payment infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Quality assure and drive testing work in an agile development environment
• Provide a technical testing perspective throughout the entire development flow
• Ensure quality in backend within mission-critical system environments
• Focus heavily on test automation
• Work closely with developers, requirement setters, and stakeholders to identify risks and define relevant testing efforts

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in technical testing within Java
• Proficiency in backend test automation
• Ability to read and write junior-level Java code
• Experience testing against databases (e.g., SQL)
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, and system integrations
• Proficiency with Git
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in non-functional testing
• Experience working within regulated industries
