About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide first line support to SGS affiliates and external clients
  • Handle incidents and requests resolution, escalation, and information routing
  • Decide on incident severity and priority
  • Perform first contact resolution and troubleshooting via phone and remote access tools
  • Manage incidents throughout their entire lifecycle
  • Record issues in tracking tools and maintain the knowledge database
  • Comply with QHSE policies and management systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology/Service Management
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • IT literacy including MS Office and internet-based applications
  • Understanding of basic software programming
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments
  • Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Engineer
