About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide first line support to SGS affiliates and external clients
- Handle incidents and requests resolution, escalation, and information routing
- Decide on incident severity and priority
- Perform first contact resolution and troubleshooting via phone and remote access tools
- Manage incidents throughout their entire lifecycle
- Record issues in tracking tools and maintain the knowledge database
- Comply with QHSE policies and management systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology/Service Management
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- IT literacy including MS Office and internet-based applications
- Understanding of basic software programming
- Experience working in multi-cultural environments
- Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Engineer
