About the role

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer requests for technical assistance via live channels, including phone and chat
  • Collaborate with cross-functional customer support teams to communicate and escalate complex issues in a timely fashion
  • Self-manage personal workload effectively to ensure quick response times in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize available knowledge, tools, and resources to resolve technical issues related to cloud applications and hardware
  • Document all customer communications clearly and concisely within internal systems
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles, including a focus on customer success and a growth mindset

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical product support role
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting cloud applications, mobile computing, and hardware devices
  • Proficiency working with SaaS systems and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for customers
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (2 days from the Bangalore office) and support a 24/7 environment, including rotational shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of electrical circuits, GPS, and telematics
  • Foundational understanding of networking principles
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Fluency in French is a plus
