About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and various applications.
  • Install, configure, and deploy new IT equipment, including workstations, printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Provide mobile support and manage mobile phone deployments.
  • Perform malware removal and address isolated viruses or spyware.
  • Accurately record, update, and document all requests using the IT service desk system.
  • Create and maintain support documentation to assist users with self-service resolution.
  • Manage audio-visual requests and critical service requests for workstation equipment.

Requirements

  • At least one year of Tier II/III desktop hardware and software support experience.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MCSA or ITIL Foundation Certificate (V2).
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Experience with encryption software (e.g., McAfee Encryption, BitLocker).
  • Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting Mac/iOS and Dell hardware.
  • Previous experience working with a Federal Government client.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
