Responsibilities

  • Providing support to users both online and offline for corporate hardware and software issues
  • Performing initial diagnostics when hardware or software problems occur
  • Restoring devices and systems to working order
  • Setting up new computers (laptops and desktops) on Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Installing and connecting office equipment like printers and scanners to networks
  • Configuring network equipment to ensure smooth operations
  • Handling the transfer of faulty equipment for repairs
  • Assisting with the purchase of necessary equipment and defining requirements
  • Managing user accounts and access permissions within information systems
  • Monitoring equipment performance, network operation, and user activity
  • Creating user guides to help staff effectively use equipment and software

Requirements

  • Degree in information technology or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role
  • Proficiency in Linux installation and administration
  • Experience with virtualization of computing resources
  • Experience configuring and supporting engineering software (CAD, PLM, CFD, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Experience setting up network equipment including switches and firewalls
  • Experience organizing work with remote users and support tools
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Dutch
