Responsibilities
- Providing support to users both online and offline for corporate hardware and software issues
- Performing initial diagnostics and restoring devices to working order
- Setting up new computers (Windows, macOS, and Linux) for users
- Installing and connecting office equipment like printers and scanners to networks
- Configuring network equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Managing user accounts and access permissions within information systems
- Monitoring equipment performance, network operation, and user activity
- Creating user guides to help staff effectively use equipment and software
Requirements
- Degree in information technology or similar
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role
- Proficiency in Windows installation and administration
- Experience with virtualization of computing resources
- Experience configuring and supporting engineering software (CAD, PLM, CFD, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- Experience setting up network equipment including switches and firewalls
- Fluency in English
