Technical Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Triage, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to smart locker systems
• Provide local field support teams with troubleshooting steps via email, chat, and ticketing systems
• Work closely with Engineering Support and local Operational teams to report and escalate complex issues
• Document technical issues and solutions in the internal knowledge base
• Provide feedback to improve the product and support processes

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical support
• Knowledge of computer and IoT hardware, electronics, TCP/IP networks, and operating systems
• Proficiency with GNU/Linux-based systems and Linux shell CLI
• Familiarity with gathering and analyzing system logs
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills and patience
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Availability to occasionally work Portuguese bank holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French, German, Italian, or other third languages
• Familiarity with support ticketing systems
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts
• Technical vocational training or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a startup environment
