Technical Support Engineer - Water Treatment

About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize water treatment processes to prevent deviations and resolve incidents regarding treatment quality and operational costs.
- Conduct process tests from pilot phase to operational transfer to implement new technologies and optimize existing practices.
- Provide technical training to operators and formalize operating procedures to capitalize on feedback and best practices.
- Manage laboratory teams, organizing daily activities and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and analytical reliability.
- Oversee sewage sludge disposal, including orders, quantities, channels, and costs.
- Support technical data and self-monitoring compliance to secure regulatory obligations.
- Produce and interpret technical or contractual reports for clients and operational teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in a scientific field, ideally with a specialization in water management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the sanitation sector (or 5-10 years of significant experience with a Bachelor's degree).
- Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including physico-chemical decantation, biofiltration, digestion, and dehydration.
- Proficiency in chemistry, laboratory techniques, and metrology.
- Mastery of IT tools (office and industrial software) with strong data manipulation and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, pedagogical skills, and the ability to manage a team.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
