About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and pre-sales teams with the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues
  • Develop best practices and tools for diagnosing issues and optimizing service performance
  • Collaborate with backend, frontend, devops, design, product, and go-to-market teams to improve user experience
  • Build scalable processes for issue resolution and documentation

Requirements

  • Industry experience supporting enterprise data analytics products
  • Strong computer science fundamentals with expertise in databases and business intelligence
  • High proficiency in SQL (JOINs, Partitions, Window Functions, CTEs, etc.)
  • Understanding of SQL query performance troubleshooting and plan generation
  • Proficiency in data modeling concepts
  • Ability to create logical data visualizations
  • Proven track record of building customer trust and resolving issues quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cloud services in production
  • Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Knowledge of GCP or AWS
  • Previous startup experience
