Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in the Rescale platform
• Learn and support state-of-the-art HPC workflows on the cloud
• Provide high-quality technical support to customers
• Work within a growing globally distributed support team
• Operate in an interdisciplinary environment with developers, engineers, business, and sales personnel
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• BA/BS or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience using Linux shell, preferably as a system administrator
• Deep understanding of basic compute technology (storage, memory, CPU, GPU, IO)
• Understanding of HPC and parallel computing (parallel scaling, MPI, shared memory)
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts (firewalls, ports, throughput, latency) and cloud computing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in Korean and working knowledge of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with parallel workflows, engineering simulations, benchmarking, HPC, schedulers, and MPI
• Experience with shell and Python scripting
• Experience working with enterprise customers
• Experience in customer-facing roles such as customer support, customer success, or pre-sales
• Experience and strong interest in AI technology and agentic workflows
