Technical Support Engineer - Onboard Systems

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the resolution of complex, escalated onboard-related technical cases
• Analyze logs, track data, and diagnostics directly from onboard train systems
• Reproduce faults and verify solutions in close collaboration with the Engineering team
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented to restore operations and prevent recurring issues
• Collaborate with L1 Support, ITC, V&V, System Engineering, and Quality departments
• Propose and drive continuous improvement measures based on analysis and operational data
• Document technical insights to contribute to knowledge sharing and organizational learning
• Participate in on-call readiness to handle critical incidents involving vehicles in traffic

Requirements

• Experience with railway systems such as ERTMS or ATC-2
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting and analyzing logs and system data
• Background in V&V, system engineering, or electrical engineering
• Academic degree in electrical engineering, systems science, or an equivalent field
• Fluency in both Swedish and English
• Ability to work in a real-time environment and handle complex, escalated issues
