About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical assistance to customers by answering inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions related to electronic components.
  • Interact with customers via email, phone, and live chat to address technical inquiries, product specifications, and application-related questions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the product catalog, including Passives, Semiconductors, Connectors, Electromechanical products, and Test & Measurement tools.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Document customer interactions and technical solutions to contribute to the company knowledge database.
  • Analyze technical challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide feedback on customer experiences to assist in product improvement and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience within the electronics industry.
  • Deep knowledge of electronic components and their practical applications.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work UK/US shift hours.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM software and tools for tracking customer interactions.
