Technical Support Engineer, Business Systems

Responsibilities

• Support the technology experience of employees and partners within the Odoo ERP system
• Provide support for other business systems and data integrations tied to the ERP
• Respond to internal user support requests via phone, email, and chat
• Investigate and troubleshoot software and hardware failures
• Coordinate with external support and development partners
• Manage access control and segregation-of-duties initiatives
• Identify opportunities for system optimization and assist with the ERP roadmap

Requirements

• Current professional experience in technical support or systems administration
• Experience administering and supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Strong systems thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with users of all technical backgrounds
• Experience managing external vendor relationships
• Ability to work on-site in Batavia and travel between Maddox locations as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or strategic consulting experience with open-source or highly customizable ERP systems
• 10+ years of related professional experience
