Technical Support Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical support to customers and the Vertiv services team regarding Thermal Management products.
• Conduct root cause analysis investigations in collaboration with global business units and manufacturing centers.
• Prepare the services area for new product launches by ensuring availability of training, spare parts, and technical documentation.
• Develop customized technical solutions and provide labor hour analysis for service projects in conjunction with the sales team.
• Perform remote technical analysis based on Vertiv documentation and regional standards.
• Create and present root cause analysis reports and technical documentation to clients.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical libraries and knowledge bases.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical equipment maintenance.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC, Chillers, and PLCs.
• Advanced English reading and writing skills, with intermediate conversational English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) technical standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in similar technical maintenance roles.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and monitoring solutions.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Previous experience working within Data Center environments.
